Default look 4 hp#,and some help.

I just got a 1995 z-28 the car was a old police car. It has the lt4 hot cam,intake,58tb,ported afr heads with 1.7s ,150 hp nos kit and cold air kit. It also has headers 3" y pipe and borla exhaust.Looking 2 change the rear gears 2 a 373. The trans is getting built stage 4, but do not know what stall 2 get? Fyi 1st camaro,any help would b good help thanks.

A good stall and a dialed in suspension!

Can't say I have ever heard of anyone using 1.7 RR'S and ported AFR'S with a hotcam~

weight reduction and suspension will get you deep in the 11's. i went 11.70's with just 320 rwhp and 3300 lb. raceweght. as a far as torque converter, buy a good vig, yank, or equivalent 3600 stall. if you skimp on the converter, you will regret it.

suspension isn't a great concern when dealing with 350 to 370rwhp just as long as the track is prepped. If you're dead hooking on the susp. (on a well prepped track) you have now then changing susp. parts isn't going to do anything better.

What do your #'s on spray have to do with the op's question?

And to the OP, the only way to know is to dyno the car and run it at the track. Hopefully whoever ported your heads knew your combo and did a quality job.

calm down buddy, i was just saying thats what i did, someone said he thought between 350-375, i was just saying he should have alot more than that....if you didnt notice it does say he has spray as well.
