Oil pressure problem... Whats the oil pressure supposed to be at? My friend has an LT1 with 115k miles and his oil pressure is at about 17 at idle (hot) and goes up to about 35 (hot) while cruising, is this too low? He's afraid its too low and wants to sell it to get a 05-06 GTO with a 6 speed...can any of you guys help? Just tryin to save another LT1 owner from switching. Thanks!

whoo hoo been running 3-5 sometime's check gauges light comes on hot idle still running strong after 12k wot it shoots back up to about 50psi cruzing is 22-26 psi
