You can only buy the LTCC system from Bob Bailey:

You'll still need to purchase a set of eight LS6 coils, fabricate coil brackets and a set of plug wires.

So...what would be the problem with a stand alone style LS1 ignition? It looks like the guy out of Eastern MO has done this, but why could one not do this with the factory style ignitions off of an LS car?

People do not seem to understand that the opti is RETAINED with both the LTCC and delteq. I am not saying either is bad BUT when you stop and look at just how fast guys are going with the opti and how many of the guys swearing it is crap are inexperianced kids a "new truth" emerges about whether it is worth spending $600 on an "opti eliminator" kit that really only takes the duties of the $100-150 cap and rotor.
Let me put this another way. If a LTCC or Delteq "fix" an ignition problem then the problem was either with the $100-150 cap and rotor or the $60 sparkplug wires. The cap and rotor are WEAR ITEMS that should be part of periodic tuneups, same for the wires. The "optical" functions of the opti are still needed so that the pcm knows where in rotation the engine is.
