As much as I want to switch to a EEPROM PCM, I don't have the money to do it. I'd leave the motor setup SD, but I'd want to use a 4L60E with it for line pressure tunablity(I think I just made a new word).
im using the "wiring harness" out of the '93 z, but trust me it was not a direct bolt in into a 62 falcon. i basically mapped out the entire z by hand then made a diagram on CAD then used all of the sensors, injectors, computer and other things from its harness and just ran my own wires. huge task if i do say so myself

its called modifying. i like to do some things myself and not just buy everything on the market. its what early hot rodding was about but now its all about how much money you have and whats on the market.

I can understand wanting to do it that way. Some people prefer to custom fab just so they know exactly what is going on and how quality the part is.

I answer to your question about which T56 I used, I used one out of a 94 Formula. Speed sensor works fine with the 93 computer.

The shop that I take my car to recommended I do it, I also talked to a few other people who tune f-bodys an they felt it was the best thing to do. The 93s have a chip and are much harder to tune on a dyno. Every time you make a change a new chip would have to be burnt.

^ I just asked a buddy if i should switch too and he said no cause 93's handle mods better. He said the sensor can be inacurate in maf because it is so sensative. Apparently even oil off the air filter can cause innacurate readings.
