Chamber Size LT1 Heads???
I see when looking at pistons there are several different compression ratios for different CCs of heads. I need to know which heads have which CC. Also, if anyone can tell me the CC of the stock Aluminum head that would help too. I want to run about 11 to 1 pistons but dont want to lower those to 8.5 by putting on the wrong heads lol.
Thanks

No they didn't.
To the OP, they should be around 54cc's unless they have been milled or ported.

^^^^^^ Yeah and that has alot of fallacies too it is good information, but there are holes. Most of those base numbers come from the corvette LT1 not the F-body LT1. I don't care who you are if you think that there was only one Combustion chamber sized for the LT motors you are sorely mistaken. I have seen too many and I have two sets right now with different chamber sizes one off of my 94, another off of my 96 stock and untouched completely different in chamber size and runner volume as well!

Actually I have personaly tested many of the aluminum casting numbers and the chambers are fairly close. They changed the runners some but after porting it does not matter.
BTW I call your two sets to my six sets

Haha yeah those are just the two I have left on hand but they are definitely different, one is the 374 castings and the others are the really thin walled ones, can't think of the # right now. But the 374's have a 175cc runner and the others are 180 like you said not much a difference when the burr hits em, but the burr will go through the 96 heads rather quickly.
I would suggest that anyone building a motor to measure the combustion chamber to find what they have is all.
