Just get a pcmforless tune or madz28 or similar. 170 bux and well worth it. They retune for 50 bux.

Tune because you can also get the other advantages of tuning at the same time.

Also, the EPA has come down on places like caspers electronics and others and they are no longer able to sell the simulators. Plus, as mentioned before, there are extra benefits that can be picked up thru a tune.

Sell the parts and get a little money, let them make a lot more money. It is a business, and should be viewed as such.
Keeping the old parts has it benefits, since you can bring it back to stock if you need to, for a lot less money.
Tuning is always the best (max power), but more expensive.
Sims can fail, as they are parts. But they can also be replaced, because they are just parts.
Your choice.

Yes… I also buy all factory cats...
WTB - $$$$ for catalytic converters , cats

I pay $145 per pair or $70 each for factory LS1 LT1 LS2 LS6 GTO GM cats.
I pay by check or paypal, your choice.
Send your payment information with your cats, when you send them.
I pay within 24 hrs of the same day that I receive your cats.

Send cats to:
Dave McElrath
2942 Crosby Ave
Pittsburgh , PA 15216

No gutted or internally broken cats. Broken studs, bad flanges a-ok.
You can cut them out of the piping if you want.
The more you cut, the cheaper it is to ship. I just need the cats.
Fedx ground is cheapest.

Or , if you cut away all the piping , they will fit into a USPS ‘flat-rate” box &
Cost you only $8.95 from anywhere to me. Free “flat-rate” boxes at your post-office.

Check out my Trader Ratings at the top of the LS1Tech.com page.
I'm #3 on the list with 203 trades & a 100% rating...

You can also send me all other factory cats, & I will pay you top dollar, for your cats... I can only price non LS1 cats when received, as there are 1,000s of different factory cats made.

my cats are internally broken, so i need to get them off. when the o2's are tuned out, do they just turn them off or actually tune the vehicle on the dyno to run without the rear o2 sensors?

when the rear o2's are tuned out will it show ready when i go for an inspection? i have heard people say that rear o2's are only there to check the operation of the cats and have nothing to do with fuel trims. if the cats are not working efficeintly then i am sure the computer senses it and adjusts the fuel trim. can someone please verify this?

A tune is not worthless ever. You can pick up at least 10rwhp on a bone stock car, plus other advantages like running cooler, etc.
