Default 1993 Tuning/metering system?

I picked up a 1993 z28 as my first chevy project car... anyways... I noticed 93 does not have a maf? so... what do the 93's do for forced induction and tuning ect. thanks!

pretty sure you can but 93's respond to mods better from what i understand. All you need is a good tuner.

ok thanks.... I see you can have chips burned,, is there any devices that will let you datalog/tune your self instead of mail order chips

if you get tunercat you can change the tables yourself. Then burn the new tables into your chip.There are more programs but that is the only one i can remember.

I had my 93 T/A converted to mass air.....you'll need a 94+ computer and wiring harness.

I'm also wondering that. I have a 93 also. I have access to EFI live tuning, but they don't do 93s. I could get tunercats and the items needed to burn chips, but the cost might be the same as upgrading to a different PCM. That combined with the fact the new PCMs are much more robust makes this a difficult decision.

I like TunerPro. I can send you my tune, but it's nothing special. Just improved stock, but a noticeable change. EGR/AIR removed though.
