Default opti problems

2 days ago my impala stalled on the freeway and im sure it was the opti cuz the engine was rumbling. yesterday i took it apart. and i changed the opti last auguest only put like 3k miles and my old opti was making the engine rumble and i changed it and it didnt do it no more so i know its the opti. but i took it apart yesterday and theres no moitsure or oil in it. do i have to replace it or just get the cap and rotor. and i want to replace the vent lines they are beat up what lines should i use.

Just get some vacuum line from a local auto parts store. Not sure what size but it should be easy to find. Maybe the opti sensor went out. What brand opti was it?

Is the opti under warranty ,because odds are the cap and rotor are fine? Regular old vacuum line will work for the vent tubes.

it was the gm opti i got it from jegs and yeah its was probably the harness since the clip broke but i ordered a new harness.

GM parts have a 12 month 12K mile warranty if purchased from a dealership.

i got it from jegs and called my local dealer and they wanted 600 for it!

Well hopefully you dont have to replace it again and end up spending $600 anyway.

I'm thinking it was probably the optical plug since the clip broke and the the vibration it probably lost contact. Cuz the inside of the opti looks brand new. And what's the size of the opti vent lines and do I have to use that blue filter thing?
