Default Guaging interest...

I can't believe I'm even thinkin about this, but some very personal issues have come up and I may be selling my 1995 Formula...

1995 A4 Formula Lingenfelter 383 hardtop built in 1995
50,XXX miles on both motor and car as motor was installed when the car had like 300 miles on it...A/C, P/S, P/W, etc...graphite cloth interior....
-Bottom end consists of a Callies crank, Oliver billet steel 5.85 rods, and JE pistons. In a 4 bolt Corvette block
-Heads are LT1 castings with 2.00/1.56s CNC/hand ported by LPE in 1995 and then re-ported in 2005 by Eric Bradby (E.B. Porting)
-Cam is a Joe Overton spec'd Erson HR 226/234 .568"/.568" on a 111lsa
-LPE CAI
-Meziere EWP
-MSD 6A ignition with Taylor OVC Spiro pros and TR55s
-Kooks stepped stainless 1 3/4-1 7/8" headers with EGR and AIRconnected to 3" custom stainless TDs with a X pipe, Edelbrock SDT 304 mufflers and custom side exit
-Built 4L60E by A-One transmissions in Pasadena, MD specs available, but is fresh as of November 2007
-Vig 4000 converter freshened in November 2007
-3" steel driveshaft from A-1 in Baltimore,MD
-Strange 12 bolt with Richmond 4.10s and Richmond spool...A bit noisey, but the wear pattern is perfect...gears have a few thousand miles on them...

-Suspension: Spohn rod ended lcas, relocation brackets, Spohn CM rod ended PHB, Hotchkis welded SFCs, QA1 R series fronts with 275lb springs, QA1 12 way rears with stock springs, Spohn cross brace mounted TA, Spohn 1" CM rear sway bar...

-Wheels/tires: Bogart welded R/Ts 15x10, 15x4 M/T ET Radials 275 60 R15s with good tread left, 165 15 front radials, plus a set of 16x8 silver five star factory wheels (not the twisty type) with Pirelli 245 50s and 255 50 R16 M/T ET radials with lots of tread, too...

-Custom 6 point CM roll bar with swing outs by Performance Auto Fabrication
-New ACC carpet, currently the rear seat and belts are out of car, but go with it..Harwood ram air style hood..

--The car is in terrific shape, no expense spared, no compromises, Its built right and runs terrific. The paint is factory and is is good shape especially for a 13 year old car...there is a slight bit of acid rain in the roof, rear spoiler, etc, but the car shines like crazy...The times in my sig were with a Vig 3600, the 4000 may help the 60' a bit..I was hoping for 10s n/a...

There's so much money/time in this thing that its hard to find a value, but I think $15,000 would take it...

--Thanks everyone...

Wow Alan I am very sorry to hear that you may have to sell your car. I've always enjoyed reading your posts and following its progress. Whatever happens man, I wish you the best of luck and hope that things turn out OK without having to sell the car. Good luck man

Sorry to hear about your situation. Sounds serious.
I wish you the best, and I hope things look up for you very soon.

Your car is worth at least 15k on the market.

Lol! Did you get a decimal point off on the taxes and think you owed 10K? I hate when that happens. (JK)

Good to hear Alan. I honestly asked the wife if she would mind if I bought another car. The glare she gave me was definitely a NO YOU CAN'T.
