If you're talking about the loud mouth muffler they are obnoxously loud. I put a LM cat back on my bone stock 95 Z car and I couldn't stand it. It was all drone, and had no tone, just a bunch of noise. It really sounded like crap, even with the cat and factory manifolds.
Yea, but when you think about it, at wot most all muffler's are going to sound very similar. I know if I could go back and do it again I wouldn't have wasted 500 bucks. I now own a 94 Z and it won't get anything less than a gmmg catback.
The Slp doesnt sound too bad, but yeah its pretty loud if you live in town. Nobody has stopped me as of yet. I like the vintage muscle car sound the Slp gives you even with an occasionally pop or 2. It sounds mean as hell when you get into it. But I could see how some people could get annoyed with it.

Verdad Gallardo your talking about the dual dual muffler. its very quiet....sounds good with longtubes, and no cats....but like i said, very quiet. if its a decent price...then get it.

check out my link in my sig (on my '97 TA page). there's a soundclip of my exhaust setup at the dragstrip. the clip, however, is of a stock trans am with ONLY full exhaust. it's a little raspier between shifts, but still sounds very nice. once i got my PCM tune, the rasp went away and it sounds very smooth. i hope this helps!
Those slp mufflers are one of the quietest aftermarket muffler's you can buy. I personally don't think it would even be worth 25 bucks. Just save your money, and buy a cat back. Don't waste you money putting anything on your car that you will end up replacing later anyway.
I say loud and obnoxious all the way! Go with glass packs baby, the louder the better. I think SLP sounds A LOT better with truck tips. Maybe it is the size of them, but the truck tips make them sound a little throatier.
