yeah that's what i figured but i just wanted some reassurance for when im ready to do the conversion thanks man i hope some more people maybe that have done the conversion can fill me in more.

I was looking up the same thing last night. I'm thinking about doing it next year. It's pretty simple. A few cuts, and a little bending, put weather stripping and liner in, and the t-tops. All done. A friend of mine did his in 20 hours, he took his time too doing it, it looks ******* amazing. Looks as if he never had a hardtop.
Only costs like 400-500$ total too.

they are the same.....if you have a doner car you can do a much better job...wire cut the roof skin off so you have the nice factory lip, cut out the 4 corners of metal and weld them into your roof, put the weather strip on your windshield and it will look 100% factory.
