hey guys are there any write ups on the t-top conversion on 93-97 camaro's or would it work the same as the lS1 cars?

anybody have an answer to this? im really excited about it but i only find good write ups about ls1 cars and just wanna see if the conversion is the same on an lt1 car.

93-02 cars use the same t-tops, so im gonna go out on a limb here and say they probably are the same. not much difference in the body styles.

yeah that's what i figured but i just wanted some reassurance for when im ready to do the conversion thanks man i hope some more people maybe that have done the conversion can fill me in more.

You can also google T-Top Camaro Conversion or something similiar and find many results.

I was looking up the same thing last night. I'm thinking about doing it next year. It's pretty simple. A few cuts, and a little bending, put weather stripping and liner in, and the t-tops. All done. A friend of mine did his in 20 hours, he took his time too doing it, it looks ******* amazing. Looks as if he never had a hardtop.

Only costs like 400-500$ total too.

they are the same.....if you have a doner car you can do a much better job...wire cut the roof skin off so you have the nice factory lip, cut out the 4 corners of metal and weld them into your roof, put the weather strip on your windshield and it will look 100% factory.

there is a guy on z28. com. that did it. think his name is Gripenfelter. he has a good writeup on it, with pics.
