I run almost 11.5:1 no issues, people saying that im lying and i HAVE to have detonation problems, well ive had the heads off of it twice since ive built it and there is NO signs of any damage at all.

and i run 91 most of the time.

You can run a 15:1 static compression ratio motor on 87 octane and have no detonation if your intake valve closes late enough on the compression stroke.

You'll have to get a different tune for you vehicle to make up for the E-85 since it is different stoic than gasoline. Also, you will need bigger injectors and bigger fuel pump with an AFPR. If you didn't know they have been putting alcohol in gasoline for some time for the winter months to displace the water in your gas tank. Also, E-85 sucks for winter time. Since it burns cooler it takes 5-8 seconds longer to start.
