Don't need the 58mm TB so save that money and get a 52mm ported stock on ebay for half price. Get a real tune from madz28 or pcmforless for half price of the hypertech because it is junk anyway. Also there is better nitrous kits from Harris Speed Works and Nitrous Outlet and they are cheaper than the Edelbrock. I like the looks of everything else, maybe just look around for the best prices on each.

Stall=3600-3800

Stay away from the hypertech. Do a search on here and you'll find a few mail order tunes that are a lot better. I had Vince at Trifecta do mine.

LOL what Pork said

Me personally, I've never been a fan of the sound of the Loudmouth systems, especially with long tubes on LT1's. But to each their own. But incase you've havn't heard how an LT1 sounds with long tubes and Loudmouth, I would advise you hear it (in person preferably) before you buy it. Also do you plan on running cats or not?

If ya want to save a little $$ maybe opt for pacesetter LT's over the Hooker, the pacesetters are a little easier install also.

Get an LPE Cold Air Intake for $160 instead of the K&N. I'd personally get GM Gears, they are at places for way cheaper than the SLP ones. Like said ditch the Hypertech, I wouldnt waste the money on a Throttle Body.

I have no heard Loudmoth's on a lt1 other then off of http://ls1sounds.com/. I dont think they have a loudmouth + long tube combo up though.
As far as running cats yes...any suggestions?

So a 52mm throttle body instead of 58mm...
LPE intake...
and can do Pacesetters instead of Hookers if I want to save $$...

Awesome thanks

hmmmmm wow, I never new loudmouth could sound so good on an LT1. but on that site the car in the videos has stock manifolds and stock y-pipe. Which are both very restrictive. from my experience loudmouth with long tubes on an LT1, the exhaust tone is very rhaspy and ear drum shattering (but not in the good american muscle kinda way). here is a video of a lt1 with pacesetter long tubes, an ory (no cats), and loudmouth http://youtube.com/watch?v=5B5R2C8_9Q4

but you said you are getting cats so that should help cut down on the rhaspyness a lil bit. but if you can, I would still highly recommend hearing it in person first.

just puttin in my 2 cents. not trying to make you like one system over another. just puttin in opinion and what I've learned through the years

lol word on the loud mouth...I purchased it brand new, because of the cool slp tips and all, i didnt have it on my car for prolly 2-3 weeks and i took it off, sounded alright wat wide open throttle but cruising HORRIBLE, its so loud you have to have your stereo way up just to hear it..I wouldnt go with it but to each its own.

I wouldnt even get a throttle body the stock ones supports a little over 400 horse, I would buy a set of pace setters unpainted and sent them off to jet hot and have them coated, same money as the uncoated hookers and the coating will last a long time.

wouldnt do the hypertech.

I would do a harris speed works nitrous kit, they seem to be awesome kits

and i would do GM/Motive gears with around a 3000-3200 stall.

Do you have to have your car tune for a CAI?

A good quality converter, I recommend the Yank "SS" series. I ran a S-10 converter (2200-2400) for 2 yrs. Threw in the Yank SS 3600 and dropped .5 off my time! Headers, gears, stall, 1.6 promags w/springs and a tune should put you in high 12's - 13.0's w/ dr's.

well certain things will pretty much have to be tuned for such as a bigger TB, camshaft, stall maybe (I didnt need to), gear change, etc. etc. If you say have a CAI and full exhaust then a tune is not required. Will it help? of course, there is power to be made and little things here and there you can adjust such as fans kicking on all the time, desensitizing the knock sensor, removing speed limiter etc. etc.

What mods do you currently have and what are your plans?

To the OP: I want to add, if you do a cam swap figure in close to $1000 including cam, valve springs plus locks/retainers, pushrods, timing chain, roller rockers, gaskets etc. etc.

You could step your cam up if you wanted more power.. that's a pretty small-medium cam choice..

Im not looking for anything crazy like a cam, stall, rockers, or anything like that.I drive it year round. I have a flowmaster muffler on it.(Will being getting it changed)cut the cat off.Thats it pretty much. I was thinking of doing little mods like tb bypass, t-stat, air foil, CAI. Thats really all. Later on I will put headers when I dont drive it year round and when I do that I will put a new exhaust on it.I just didnt know it you had to have a tune done for the mods I listed up.(tb bypass, t-stat, air foil, CAI).Im want something I can drive daily year round right now but also take it to the track run an ok time.Like mid to low 13. I kinda hoping that those mods would get me there.Or it might be wishful thinking. I duno you tell me.

I have a video of my car. It has a loudmouth + longtubes with cats. Big difference between cats and no cats with that setup.
