Default do lt1's have a limp mode?

I was driving my car to work today and about 20 mins into the drive my car started cutting out and was a dog on power. maybe a minute or two passed and it ran perfect. then it happened again about 5 mins later and same thing ran perfect the remaining 5 mins to my work. Then i park and it did it again so i revved it a lil bit and about another minute it ran fine?!? any idea

It could also be a burnt plug wire.

Man It Would Take Me Forever To Type My Posts Like This All The Time Lol. sounds like it could be a plug wire, or you could have some bad gas, watered down gas will do that too.

yeah see its similiar to what it would do when i drove it on a rainy day. i think it was from the moisture hitting it, optispark has alot more of a straight shot from under my bumper on the ol chevelle. i thought it might have been some bad gas but it was dam near empty before refueling this morning.when i got off work it did the same exact thing after maybe 15 mins into my drive home it started bucking and cutting out. the exuast doesnt seem to smell rich tho as if it would have been an ignition prob.oh yeah my ces light has been on since i put the motor in the car 5 years ago. i now have tuner cats so hopefully i can disable the stuff that isnt on the motor anymore and get a better diagnosis.the o2's could be a good possibility.5 year old bosch o2's.

Mine was doing something similiar. I replaced my O2's and it made a huge difference. Worth a try since they are a lot cheaper than changing the opti.

Again, I don't know how 94+ PCM's Limp Mode is but ECM (80s-93) it's literally limping. Try to rev it at ALL and it just falls flat on it's face. I posted it in another thread, best way I can describe it is if you break your legs and crawl home with just your arms and hands

If you type with CAPS lock on it will change it to every word starting with a capital letter. It's supposed to be less annoying than all caps, but it's pretty annoying that way as well.
