It is also possible that the junk yard did not know that some one swapped them before or the motor had been replaced before.

if the motor was sitting in a camaro it was probaly replaced. Not the junkyards fault

No i know its not the junk yards fault at all! It wasnt like they had it advertised, i walked around and saw it and got it! It doesnt matter any way because i was originally going to buy an LT1 out of an impala and just sell everything down to the block and build up! Now im going to do the same thing! And if interested i'm going with a 383, solid roller, forged 3.75 crank, AI 200cc head package with custom grind cam, AI street strip manifold, and not sure what pistons yet, wanting 11.6:1!! Any thoughts or comment? Car is going to also have full suspension upgrades, built 4l60e with vig converter, and 12 bolt out back with 4:somethings!
