Timing chain set?

Can I use a regular sbc timing chain set or does it have to be specific for lt1? what is the difference if so

If you use an SBC set, you have to use an electric water pump. If you still have a stock water pump, must use LT1 specific set. The difference is the teeth on the back of the cam gear that drive the water pump: LT1 has them and SBC doesn't.
