Default This is false knock right? HELP!!

I have always had knock in the range of 3600 -4600 logged via datamaster only at WOT.

I does it with 39 degrees timing o2 reading 960 with 93 pump gas

I does it with 39 degrees timing o2 reading 960 with 100pumpgas

I does it with 36degrees timing o2 reading 960 with 100 pump gas

it does it with 32 degrees timing 02 reading 920 with 100 octane and with a 15 percent reduction in the knock attack table.

WTF!!

any help would be greatly appreciated

960 on your o2 is way too rich, unless you have a power adder.

but yeah, if it's the same with 100 I would guess it is false.

yeah i know 960 is RICH, im working on that along with knock retard, stall wall and shift points now.....

Im thinking of aiming for 910.... is that still a tad on the rich side or is that bout right

well you can never tell exactly with the narrow band sensors but typically 910 would still be a tad rich, i usually try for 890-900 as a baseline, then put in on a dyno etc.

I was under the impression that the O2s are bypassed under WOT?

they are bypassed, the computer doesnt use them to decide if it is rich or lean at WOT

however, YOU CAN use them to get a general idea of where you are at with you air to fuel ratio when using datamaster logging or any other way of reading them while driving, mind you they are not exact when not around stoich.

you are correct the computer doenst use them at wot but they are still ON and helpful.
