Well, the question in the poll is what is the best sounding cat back. This can only turn in to but I voted anyway. Bang for the buck and with a set of LT'S and ORY, I voted Maganaflow, straight up hard to beat. Now, one of the best sounding setups is Spintech but it wasn't listed.

There is more about if the Spintech crossflow mufflers are a bit restrictive, I don't recall any dyno tests to say that it is but I have seen dyno tests for regular Spintech mufflers that favor them.

Either way IMHO you're a winner, Spintech or Magnaflow just do yourself a favor and do the LT's and 3" y pipe too!

Any other sound clips of corsa out there? I checked out ls1sounds and there arent any LT1s on there. I'm running LM1 with pacesetter LT's and ory on my 355/f1a combo and I hate it! Just picked up a used Corsa without ever even hearing it in person but I pretty much stole it from the guy So I wanna hear what to expect when I get it on!

Definately Corsa. I have had Corsa on my car for 2 years now and everyone that rides in it and sees it go by tells me it is the best sounding car they have heard. Its a little pricey but your supposed to pick up 14 rwhp with it.

W/ LT1 I've only heard my own Borla and a full exhaust Hooker.

The Borla on my 383 sounds like hell itself, combined with the S/C it has an exhaust note so loud and deep that it amazes me.

Although I have to say part of me wants to try other cat-backs just to see how they would match up on my setup.

i havent heard a catback yet that im completely happy with... guess thats why i still have the stock exhaust

I generally like the refined/deep/tight sound, not ear-piercing loud. I also hate the raspy sound that the LT1s tend to have with most exhausts, in this video for example with a magnaflow and hooker cat back. Youll hear what i mean at 0:13 and 0:28 ...
http://youtube.com/watch?v=jXpD8p25wAk

Borla sounds awesome at idle and inside the car and under moderate throttle, but again is subject to that raspy sound, which you can hear at 0:41-0:43

Flowmaster i actually like soundwise, but the supposed sub-par performance gains are whats steering my away from it. I think they make a certain catback system which is actually supposed to be alot higher quality than the regular 80 series? This following video sounds badass... IMO you generally cant argue with flowmaster, it has that classic sound, although some ive heard can sound redneck-ish depending on which flowmaster muffler it is, cats/no cats, etc.

Loudmouth is just out of control

Corsa has that "airy" sound to it. Havent heard it too much on LT1s to really make a strong opinion though

If i had an LS1 id definitely go with a GMMG, but i havent heard enough of them on LT1s to know if i like it

I really like this muffler - the sweet thunder, whatever it is:
