Default flowmaster all the way

what i would say to do if you wanna really sound good is go to summitracing.com buy a set of headers you can pick up a set for under $400.00 from pace setter that sound nice and go with a 40 ser. flowmaster exhaust.

Longtubes going into an x pipe, dumped before the rearend. Sounds sick. And has the old school look.

Definitely the Magnaflow catback. It sounds mean and gives a deep throaty growl at accel but nice and mellow at idle. I don't have any sound clips but you can find some on their site.

"Old school look" ?!?! I dont remember that look back in, say, the 70's. Most
everyone were running duals (Cherry Bombs) out the back or running sidepipes

I love my Jet Hot LT/y-pipe and Magnaflow. Sound is awesome and it really woke the car up from my original setup, Hooker shorties(4sale)Dynomax Cat and Flowmaster catback.

Hey, the internet doesn't work at my apt so I have to wait until I get to school to check it. I have a couple but nothing special. Let me know what you want and I could run out and make one quick.
The first is just a quick little stab up to 100mph from inside the car.

The second is a few rev's right behind the car. The camera doesn't really do it justice, it's much louder in person but you get the idea of what it sounds like.

The Loudmoth is good as long as you still have cats. I love the sound of my Flowmouth (loudmouth + Flowmaster Super 44 muffler).

GMMG is great if you're willing to drop $800 on a catback. Borla sounds incredible.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't notice this was an LT1 thread... not that it matters much.

Went from a Flowmaster that sounded ok... to a Hooker and god I love the Hooker. Just sounds so much better to me.

Granted I have cats and shorties right now but when my long tubes get here this week they will go on with no cats and a resonator... then I will tell you what I think of it again lol.

Gotta love the sound of a LTs/ORY setup with the hooker catback, I liked it so much on the TA thats its DEFINITELY going on the hawk in the near future (this season sometime)....

But then again, I cant disagree with those who voted for GMMG either
