Thanks guys, and yes, I own Monster Clutch Co.

We are in the process of producing a Level 1-6 for the LT motors, we are in the process of getting them done, we'll be needing testers when we're done.

How close are you to needing testers? 430rwhp daily driver here is in need of a clutch. Feel free to send a pm.

McLeod Street Twin.

For $1100 I got an aluminum twin disk capable of more HP and anything above, PLUS it was NICE to daily drive, strong enough to outlast 3 10-bolt rearends, and 160,000 miles. When we pulled it (to replace the engine with a 396 last month) it still had plenty of friction pad left.

I'd never buy a different clutch for a LTx. Not for a stock one, and definitely not for my 500+hp 396.
+1 for this
Same here 35k and still going strong but I got the steel flywheel after couple days I could go from a stop without touching the gas and still have no chatter

I was planning to replace my clutch anyways over the winter since I'm putting an S60 in the car. I'd be happy to try one of your clutches out if you have it available in time...

Specs used to be junk, search in the LS1 section about them but it seems like they have been doing very good as of now.

The early models had issues but seems like they have been cleared.

Id just go with RAM

I just put a ram powergrip HD in my car. So far it has ~150 miles on it with no chatter, and it drives just like a stock clutch. + no break-in is nice.

Checkout the Zoom HP clutch, it is very beefy, definitly has chatter until broken in, which was right around 500-550miles, but then smooths out and I only notice a little chatter going into reverse at 1200miles on mine...

It holds awesome and is a great clutch for the price. I put it in my '95 Z28, which has around 390rwhp. I am going to be building a 383 for it this spring pushing around 480rwhp or so and fully expect teh clutch to hold it beautifully.

For reference my '95 T/A has a Mcleod Street Twin with aluminum flywheel and it is liek stock, smooth buttery engagement and totally easy pedal feel, but holds like no other. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $1200+ on that clutch for the Camaro, as the camaro won't ever be at anywhere near the power levels the T/A has...

Did you go with the kevlar disc or organic is your camaro? I'm thinking about getting a zoom clutch for my car. It seems like a nice kit for the price

We thought that some of you would like to see proof rather than just read about it.

May want to keep Zoom products as an option.

I found a part number for a twin disk zoom clutch for a LT1. It was in Australia and I could not find it at any available retailer. Where do I get this at??.

This is the same setup I'm running with about 4k miles on it. I'm not making that much power, but I've had no issues and would totally recommend it. The only thing I would have done different is shop around for a cheaper flywheel. I forget what I paid for my autozone one but I've heard you can get it a little cheaper elsewhere.
