If you want I can post my slips to make you feel better. My cam and stall just went in over the past few months and I haven't run the car since. I built my suspension setup first so the power got to the ground. All my runs were on a 1.91 60'. The tires were 275/40ZR17 Sumitomo HTRZ2's. I have v6 springs all the way around, v6 struts in the front, KYB AGX's in the rear set on 3, Spohn adjustable tq arm that was set at the time to -3 degrees, Lakewood lca's and adjustable panhard.

That's weird... not to talk down on the hotcam or anything, but every hotcammed car i've seen with basic bolt-ons cant get out of the 13.0 mark. (Like said, "basic bolt-ons" I.E. intake, exhaust, some suspension, tune).

But i think that radials and a good size stall will help out a ton. If you're puttin 330 to the wheels than your deff on your way to 12's, just need a few more things.

untuned my hotcam car ran a 12.8 with 3.42s, stock stall and some mickey's.

but i get your point and for the majority yeah they usually are low 13s.. but to the OP, a good tire could get you there.

Agreed. But if you didnt have the help of those mickeys you woulda been in the same boat. I cut 3 tenths off my 1/4 with just a half way decent set of pirelli's. (they hooked suprisingly well for what they were)

Cool night. Kinda humid though. It was later summer / early fall last year.

I found that humorous as well. Especially coming from someone that doesn't bother to post up any performance numbers of their own.

So if it doesn't happen at your local track, with you watching, it's not possible?
