In NEED of 93-94 lt1 pics
i need non mass air flow engine pics due to the fact some kid by me has no speed density in his vehicle and i have no idea where the wiring is for the speed density nor what else he could be missing. any pics would be great. colors of connectors possibly or even where to locate these. thanks all

Correct 93 was the only one with the speed density unless he converted and removed the MAF. All fbodies 94 and up including the LS1's run off the MAF. Double check that he knows what he is talking about and may be best to post up a pic of your own so we can see what is going on. Is he having any codes thrown? More info would be best so we can help.

well k guys thanks this vehicle is a 93 it has check engine light on and i dont see any type of speed density (maf looking thing betweeen the throttle body inlet tube and the cold air system). the car idles literally like at 2000rpm and have to play with throttle to start vehicle. it has no air/fuel idea at all. so please what to look for is this missing the speed den. or what.

so there shouldnt be anything b4 the cai and the throttle body inlet tube at all like a mass air of some sort. also like i said this car starts up like crap and while driving feels like it misses and bogs under load real bad.
there is codes but5 its obd1 and i dont have a scanner for that.

Two of them are for the Heated O2s and one is for an after market alarm. The 93s came with a single wire non heated O2. Was fine stock, but caused issues when I did Log Tubes. The car never seemed to idle right, at idle after it warmed up felt like it had a after market cam in it. After swapping to heated O2s, problem went away. I want to hide all those harness' under the fenderwells.

If you can drive to the parts store they'll scan it for free. Plus they will likely have a Haynes manual you can 'browse through' while shopping. It will have at least a few pics to help.

Count the flashes/pauses flash / pause / flash flash / pause = 12
will do this 3 times, the codes following are the error codes.
a 12 again is the end of all stored codes.
If I can remember from when the car was stock? Sorry, my harness has been all cut apart and rerouted.
The engine harness is basically broken down into 4 sections.
Behind the engine there are 2 small harness with 2+ 3 connectors each:
Harness #1 goes to the trans, I think 2 connections on Auto and 3 on manual.
Harness #2 goes over to the drivers side and down along the fire wall, and contains connects for the:
02 sensor, Oil Pressure (on 93’s it’s just above the oil filter ), and the oil sensor in the pan.
One of the above harnesses also has 2 ground wires that bolt to the back of the DS head, and are a total PITA to get to!
Harness 3 goes along the drivers side intake:
One connection in the back for EGR relay that is located on the back of the intake, 2 rear injectors, 2 front injectors, Water temp gauge for dash ( between 1+3 cylinders), 1-2 plugs for the Ignition module/coil, ECM water temp gauge ( in front of water pump ) And 3 ground wires plus ground wire ( from frame under ABS ) mounts to a bolt holding the ignition Module to head.
Harness 4 goes along the pass side intake:
2 rear injectors, EVAC relay mounted to side of intake, Opti harness mounted to EVAC, front 2 injectors, MAP sensor, 2 connectors go to the throttle body= TPS sensor, ICM sensor, AIT sensor (intake elbow), 1 wire to alternator, and one runs down to the AC compressor.
*** might be a ground wire in there that goes down to the bolt above the knock sensor? ***
