Default JEGS Torque converter

Has anyone used JEGS XHD 10" street/strip converter. They sell a 3500 stall for only $450. Is this a good deal.

ive had fuddle...dont get one unless its track only....

now the most important part you can buy for an automatic car is the converter...buy the best one you can...go with a yank...if not a vig...youll be very satisfied

The converter is the heart of the tranny just like a cam to the motor, Don't skimp out on a cheap converter, as the saying goes, you get what you paid for, I used a Pro Torque converter, Great, Great customer service and a great converter.

Most of the time yes, but I've had experiences of just the opposite. I've gone through 2 QA1 shocks in short amount of time. For a $140/each shock, they're horrible for reliability. Not a single issue with my suspension. Not sure why they blew the oil out of the top. Tired of them, went to something else.

Thanks for the help. I plan on changing the torque converter while installing headers, cutout and exhaust. Buying everything at once only leaves me with about $500 for the converter.

I need a 3600 stall. I plan on running a cc 503 cam after i finish my exhaust. What would it cost to have them make one.
