I am not speaking on behalf of Llyod, but I would like to say that while these cars make these numbers the dyno is different from the street or track. The cc306 puts out great numbers on paper but it works hard and takes awhile to get there, where as a similar LE package (only similar in numbers referred by rwhp) has that power available throughout the rpm range and pulls hard from start to finish.
Thats what you have to look at is where am I going to be driving the car the most. If you are only interested in bottom of the page numbers then you will be sorely disappointed when a smaller cam eats you for lunch and has better manners and driveability all around.
As for the comparison with LE you also have to note that his is a completely matched system, proper in every aspect so you also gain longevity and durability out of your engine.
Lloyd's own sight claims more hp than every number here for his LE1s except one. Then he has LE2s and 3s.
You seem uneducated. Shut up.
Well, a very good friend of mine did 379rwhp/353rwtq with an LE2 setup/bolt ons on a M6 LT1 Z28.
I do 371rwhp/358rwtq with unported heads and a CC306.
He peaks HP at 6200, I peak at 6250
Yes, the "torqueless" CC306 made 7 more ft lbs than the LE2 equipped car with a nearly identical curve.
Same dyno.
