You are not gonna LOSE anything by going 58mm over he 52mm. Even if your motor doesn't NEED the additional 6mm, you will gain a snappier throttle because you are letting more air in quicker everytime you punch the gas. I know my car did.

And I doubt Lloyd Elliot says to stay away from the 58mm, probably just recommends something over stock, the minimum being 52mm.

And when the 52 and the 58 are nearly the same price, why would anyone get the 52mm?

Because they are gonna lose torque? yeah right.

Stock TB is twin 48mm and the stock intake openings are 52mm. It takes 5 minutes to open them up to 58mm with the intake on the car. There is a very good how to out there somewhere.

58mmTB and just open up the holes in the intake with a dremel.

There is an awesome how-to out there and any idiot can do it very easily.

The stock intake and throttle body will be just fine at that power level. I would suggest that your money would be better spent on something else.

Air foils dont help, no way to tell unless you measure it. Pull the TB and check with a digital caliper
