Sorry, Do a search. LS1's make more power everywhere on the graph including TORQUE. BTW I own a LS1 and LT1.. It's pretty freakin' easy for me to tell. Let's not turn this into a LT1 vs LS1 thread so it get's locked on the Mod.

I thought about selling it for an LS1.. but honestly there are way too many LS1's out there for me. I like having a unique looking car and its well known around my part of town. lol if people don't know me they know the car. Cops do too unfortunately

I would have a harder time selling this car than breaking up with my gf of two a half years..

I never said anything about LT1's are better than LS1's cause its just not true LS1's make more power and torque but at low rpms LT1 has more torque. I have the proof.

, but back on topic I love my LT1 cause i think it looks more intimidating than a LS1.

Exactly, anytime an LS1 has beat me, I always had the jump off the line. ALWAYS.

Here's mine. There's not another one like it ANYWHERE around my town. I only have seen 2 other LT1 WS6's (whether clones or not)

I've got some dual oval rolled Magnaflow tips I need to get welded on ASAP!

Nope, I completely understood what you were saying and it is indeed false. You dynoing higher in lower rpm's than your buddies LS1 is not good proof at all there are too many variables. Look at various dyno graphs stock for stock and you will see. I wonder why I pulled my buddies LT1 trans am with full exhaust when my 98 was bone stock right off the line and in the higher RPM's I guess you could consider I have proof?

Also Here is more proof. Notice what a MOD who owns a LT1 is saying.

Very nice! It's a toss up between LT1 and LS1 body styles on the Camaro side, never could decide which I liked more. I never could get myself to like the look of LT1 birds though.

do you by any chance know the setup on the LT1 you beat? was it also an A4 with 3.23's what year was it. different years have different heads. I guess to sum up this arguement that never should have happened. My 97 LT1 with M6, 3.42's and CAI made more torque at 3500 rpms and below than my buddy's 02 LS1 with M6, 3.42's and a Lid. This was in front of a class of 25 people our teacher used it as a example for his lecture between volume and velocity. LT1 chokes out at higher rpms due to lack of volume, where as LS1 lays over in comparison to a LT1 at low rpms because its lack of low rpm velocity. so in conclusion to be politically correct about with all other things equal a 97 LT1 with a CAI makes more torque below 3500 than a 02 LS1 with a Lid. with this said everyone knows that no one races at 3500 rpms so this is only good for a slight jump at the begging of a race.

but according to you that dyno was wrong, the 25 students were halucinating, and the teacher is an idiot! so of course you must be right.

so this is my opinion and you have yours. no need to screw up this thread any more if you want to discuss this further with me ill do it through PM's
