Best way to find vac leak?
Trying to rule some things out with my low rpm/high load stumble/miss. What is the best way to find a possible vac leak? Also, when i did my egr swap, did i have to cap any vac lines heading to the intake manifold or other? Becuase all i did was throw on the block-off plates. Car idles fine, but wont spin the tires in first at all, whereas it used to roast them.

Spray propane (like from a propane torch, unlit of course, lol) around various places you could have a leak while the car is idling. When you find the leak, the engine will bog down or quit.

I personally wouldn't do the propane trick, even if it isn't all that much being let out. You could accidentally have too much and cause problems.
Carb or brake clean works, but brake clean usually evaporates a little too quickly.
The smoke trick works decent as well, but you'd have to have very little air movement where ever you are at. If you could use something that smoked more that could work better. Heh maybe burn a small bit of rubber on a stick? >_>
