Has anyone had any experience with these opti's? They say lifetime warranty but, how reliable are they??

wow Ive never seen this one, but a lifetime warranty is nice. It's just a PITA to install so I'd probably go with an MSD. I've got one and love it.

Dont buy its, its not a real A/C Delco, its probably one of the cheapo Autozone brand units.

Be careful when choosing a replacement, as stated above, its really a pain to change and you dont want to be pulling that thing off too often.

I have an MSD and I am very very happy with it. Zero problems

Well, I 've done my fair changing of the OPTI and it's a breeze job now. I can do it in about an hour. I was just curious. I need one and money is a little tight at the moment. Just got moved in to a new place and you know how that goes.

It looks complete to me. The opti changes in 95' so, they look different from then on up.

honestly I wouldnt buy something with a warranty off ebay, unless it was a warranty through the manufacturer and the ebay seller gave you the contact details for the warranty, I think it would be a pain trying to get an ebay seller to honor a lifetime warranty, especially since its easy for ebay sellers to be the fly by night type

I completey agree and that is the reason I haven't bought it and was asking about the reliability. I suppose I will just wait and buy a MSD when I have the extra change.

good luck, I got my MSD off of ebay when I first heard about them, even before they were in Summit. I got it for something like 400 plus shipping, thats like 100 cheaper than anywhere

so there are merits when it comes to ebay, you just have to be careful

I wouldn't buy it. I've heard too many horror stories about cheap EBay optis. Get a Delco, or Delphi, from thepartsladi. They have an EBay storefront, and from what I hear they are legit.
