Not going to vote on this one, but I love my Pacesetters. I managed to get the coated headers and the y for $500 shipped which is nice and cheap. If I was doing it again I would have gone with a custom y as it hangs very low on the passenger side. It just didn't fit quite right around the body so I had to angle it in a weird way, plus it leaks at the joint in the middle.

I don't have any experience with Hookers, but I have had my Pacesetter coated long tubes on for a month and so far they are great. I had no fitment issues, and so far the coating has held up great, not to mention they cost me less than $500 brand new. As far as I know, there is no performance difference.

I have JetHot long tubes(same design as Hookers)except w/ thicker flange. Easy install and the ceramic coating is fantastic. So I voted for Hookers.

I'd say Pacesetters. I just ordered a set of their painted LT's. I didn't go with coated because I didn't want to spend that much, and I've heard a lot of talk of their coating being crap. I'll just run them painted for a while. And after I get some extra money saved up, take them to a local place that does some good coating.

Don't forget your O2 sensor extenders. It gave the car a whole new demeanor after the install, the sound was different, you couldn't feel the torque as much but that's only because HP was now predominant.
Agreed!

if your on a tight budget nothing is a better choice than pacesetter but that being said they aren't the best quality from what i have heard. and i wouldn't even bother with their coating i just when the cheapest route possible i heat wrapped my pacesetters.

I've never had any problems with my Pacesetters... You cant really get more bang for your buck with those headers. Not to mention they sound phenomenal.

My buddy just got a set of Pacesetters yesterday and they are coated and looked great. I have Hookers, not coated and they look like crap, but they sound good.

I have hookers (and mufflex 4 to 3 y pipe) and have installed both, and I'm going to say bang for the buck...pacesetter all the way. The coating on my buddy's pacesetters has even lasted longer than that on my hookers. That being said, the hookers were a little easier to install than the PS (nothing too terrible though). Remember to bring a rubber mallet to clear out any possible rub spots on the top of your collectors or you'll just love that vibrating feeling you get when they do rub.

i voted hookers. i have installed both, and yes... i got a tad bit more ground clearance with pacesetters. the hooker LT's and Y seemed to fit a bit better, with no hammering needed. but for the ground clearance, i chopped the 3 bolt flanges and went with V-band
