Stock LT1 1/4 Time?
#22
Best I ran was 14.00 @ 105 2.25 60ft, 90 degree summer Day in Indiana! That was stock on eagle gsc's. One of the faster lt-1's around my area back in the day(8yrs ago). Now it sit's with a 383 and get's driven 1500mi a year.

1.no traction w/2.5 60'
2.the mph at the end was showing the HP was still there!
even though i blew the tires away off the line..but thanks for the input.

its LS1 Tech Stock now so hopefully it should run a tad quicker.

for sure i would love for some of these people to run at hi and dry altitudes then add the DA to it.
in-fact i wish people would add there track location and or the DA at the time of their runs...Vegas is generally 3-4tenths slower than a sea level track but we have seen it as high as 7tenths......
favorite excuses for a crappy ET
1.my opti
2.bad injector(s)
3.bad gas
4.my reaction time was bad(LOL)

saturday class from 2pm-7pm FTL!
and i know all about the dry heat, phoenix, AZ FTL
At least we don't have the altitude issue. and seeing as Elite ran a 14.2 with his bone stock 2.73 car i think i should be able to hit a mid 13 considering i have better gearing and a few bolt on's and cam and tune( HOPEFULLY HAHA!)
but who knows? gotta see.

whats your altitude in PHX?
if you are able find out what your DA is post it,good luck at the track.

according to google when i looked it up our altitude is 1,086 FT above sea level. im not an expert at this by any means but is that bad or going to affect me greatly? that doesnt seem too far above sea level but then again i have no real solid knowledge that i can base that on, besides that denver is 5,280ft above sea level? haha

Not too bad,i have met a few guys from PHX and to see their reaction when they make a pass here is priceless! I am still spoiled myself i started racing in 1986 in Houston, old eastex in porter tx,then they built HRP spoiled by sea level racing!

nah im probably not goin to the meet saturday night, **** fell through on the loan for that ss so im stuck with the z now. Its cool though i got some pretty good plans for it in the next few months as long as the bank will give me the cash. On my 14.2 run i also had a shitty 2.2 reaction time and my rear bearings in the rear end were going bad. I think i might be able to pull off a 14.1 or 14.0 possibly but who knows.
