i dont know about the others? but im pretty sure a sbc distributor will not work on a lt1 it doesnt have a hole in the back of the motor for it to go into. i do know that you can put a carb on it, but i dont know if a sbc intake will work on it. you might have to buy a carb intake for a lt1.and im not for sure but i think a 700r4 stall will only work on a 94-97 4l60e i do know that it wont work on a 98 and up though.

Cam is too big.

Distributor will work as long as you don't use the LT1 computer.

There are many good carb intakes, but it depends on why you want one. To run fuel injection or actually use a carb.

Yes, with some modification.

Yes, but only some years and as long as it's 30 spline.

No, I don't know anyone with it for sale.

If you refer to the other thread (already on-going), you have your answer about that.

The Crane 227, GM 845, COMP XFI 465, LE 211 (;-)....are good cams for a stock motor.

cam and stall on TC are directly related in terms of optimum performance. 2400 stall would work well with any of the above listed cams

valve spring upgrade is a must. 465 will require COMP 915 or 918 springs, the other cams will be happy with the Crane 10308-1 spring kit.

i dont want to take the heads off the car at all. i just want to be able to put the cam in and be done. i am not really looking for a performance cam just a good sounding one. i have two car's they look exactly the same.one is more or less a race car the other car is stock. i just want it to sound built. basically i want to drive around town or go to the track with the (stock car). let people see it run or jump on it and either beat it or hardly get beatin. talk the junk that we all love so much and do the ole switcheroooo. put my other car on there *** and take there money. this is my goal!!! yes it is wrong. i am just takeing advantage of there over confidence. i only post this so you under stand my reasoning.

whatever cam you do pick, you will need to have the PCM retuned so it will idle right and take advantage of what the cam can offer in the performance area. None of the ones I listed have a big 'chop" sound to them. The LT4 Hot cam does...

You don't have to remove the heads to swap springs. stock spring will fall off around 5000 RPM's with these cams, replace valve springs if doing a cam.
