I'm not going to say impossible, but I don't believe i have ever heard of anyone who got 400rwhp with the 503 cam. If anyone's knows of someone who did this, please correct me.

I remember reading a post a while back about low dyno numbers you posted. Found the thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...t=#post9075723

So what changed from this previous dyno to the one you just posted? You only added LT's and netted 60rwhp (on a Mustang Dyno) Those are some unbelievable numbers on a mustang dyno. I had the cc503 a few years back and it is a very nice cam, ran it on stock heads and yielded 335rwhp.

I don't mean to be a stick in the mud or whatever but there is no way you are making over 400 ft lbs of torque to the rear wheels

yes i have to agree with some of the others in here. I could see 360 rwhp with a good dyno tune and 30#'s but no way are you making that much torque and even if you were what makes you think you are going to gain approximately 90rwhp from just a tune and injectors do some more research and you will find what you can realistically make.

with that said i am in no way trying to start an arguement i just don't want you to set your hopes to high. with the right injectors and tune you should be thrilled with 360 to the wheels!

the difference is my opti has been bad and making my timing 46* advanced and i had the # 5 & #6 wire arking against the header. also was picking up knock so added the lt4Km!! but i understand none of you guys beleive it (hey i was amazed myself) but it def. does have what i say!!! as soon as i fixed the timing & wire prob. it is unbeleivable!!!! but im not trying to race dynos ( i just think that i have prob. set a record for the 503 cam) because like i said i have an exhuast leak right off the head & ran out of injector as you can see and it is UNTUNED (thats what amazed me) but i will keep you guys posted thanks.

Nice numbers.........go to the track and back them up. With the power you are making, 11.80. Trapping atleast 116.

Nice numbers.
That Torque curve starts early..I thought it would be higher. A tune will help it out alot.

i wasn't trying to **** anyone off i was just saying that from the countless LT1s i have been around and helped build i have never seen that power with that setup. with that being said dynos are not accurate enough tools to compare to each other only thing they are good for is before and after pulls like you are planning on doing. as you said though don't dyno race just go to the track and video tape your run to prove us wrong.

You have a good setup..but something is definately wrong somewhere..your Torque curve drops where it should peak. I think it was a mis-read on one of the Sensors for the Dyno.

Quite a few of us here build our own Engines and are running them, myself included.
Mine Dyno'd 412/390 at the wheels and ran a 11.19 at the Track..by far I Dyno'd alot lower than the Engine has, but my curve looked more normal..well closer to what most people's have.

I would say if you want to call people out to learn how to build an Engine..a retard can take a wrench and assemble and Engine. It takes the brains and the skill to understand how everything works. Compare your HP to TQ numbers..something is definately off, I'm putting my money on the Dyno. If that part of it's messing up, you will get some interesting readings.

My first pull got me 404hp, like 17billion Torque. If I had that much it would of broke the Dyno and the shockwave of that explosion would've dropped every girls panties within a 5-mile radius.

Calm it down a little bro..
