longtubes to an x-pipe with no mufflers and taken over the axle. just curious as to what it would sound like.

 

with an x-pipe it does not sound bad!
without x-pipe it sounds pathetic!
sounds nice w/1 chamber flows or bullets

I had a x-pipe with no mufflers dumped at the rear axle. It didn't sound bad, just loud and obnoxious. Ran it for like 3 months and finally had to put my mufflers on.

 

you got any sound clips from when it was like that?

 

Id like to run a X Pipe with a small Burns Stainless Muffler on each side dumping at the rear axle. Should sound pretty badass.

 

I'd love to know what this would sound like as I'm about to have my exhaust set up for me. I'm doing true duals over the axle also, just not sure what I want to run for mufflers, if any. I was thinking either Spintech Prostreets, Powersticks (chambered mufflers), or no mufflers at all... But I want to avoid the "pickup truck with rusty exhaust" sound.

 

td's and no mufflers seems to me like it would have the "old truck w/ rusty exhaust" sound, but im not really sure...td's with flowmaster 1chambers sounds like teh sex though.
