Detroit True Trac..that thing is awesome on the street. It's noisy too..it's got a wine to it.

It's cool..Yea..I feel ya, it will be nice to dump it at 6K and know everything will hold together..

It's the Strange Nodular Iron S-case, Moser 3.50 Gears, Detroit True Trac Differential.

I would be pretty worried about high rpm clutch dumps on a ls1 drive shaft. Seen lots of pictures of them twisted up like a pretzel. After all you have done to your car I am surprised you never upgraded the drive shaft.

what site did you use to look at the complete moser 9". im shoppin and i can't seem to find the right place. a site for COMPLETE REAREND would be amazing. thanks

It's not too common to get a 9" completely assembled new..you will have to do that yourself alot of the time. It's not that hard.. I had to press the Axle Bearings on, I got the Third Member completely assembled so all I had to do was bolt it in.

u neded a better tranny builder...my guy builds them for a little more than a good twin disk would cost you
ive been faster for almost 3 years now...no problems....


if you think a t56 will cost less then please go do some research! your crazy....ask tanner about them....

I want to go to a M6..mainly for the fun factor. I don't intend to hit the track as much as I used to with the A4..I want it to drive and play with on the street. I've been waiting for a good reason to switch over and this is it..

I know it's expensive, I've budgeted the swap out to be about $3600..that's overshooting it a hair for leeway.

Fast or not I'll be having a shitload of fun doin it..

damn i got less than 2k in my tranny and converter and its going on 3 years...i drive mine whenever on the freeway at 90 ect...

its about 1500 for a t56 ect...clutch is about 1200(twin disk, if your making a bunch of power) then building it is about 1500-1800 i think....that a lot..but thats an all out t56...
