Default is it the opti

OKay let's try this again. I'll tell you my problem's if you think it's the opti tell me. My 93 z28 started jumping really bad in 2nd gear going about 10mph i didn't get the clutch pushed in and it died. I found out a heater hose busted on top of the pump it sprayed a tiny amount a water onto to my throttle body. I looked all around for it on the opti, but not a drop had seemed to hit it. Finally it started back up after a little bit. it set for probaly an hour for it started back up. It didn't miss out or anything, i could punch the gas and it would rev good no hesitation no nothing it just idled low that was all.

Most of the time when the opti is going out it will start missing in the upper rpm's, does not sound like it's your opti to me.

The TPS voltage should be around 5.0 volts. Are you getting a tps code?? What makes you think it's the tps??

Did you check for any stored codes?? I would do that first. What does it idle at when the engine is warm?? At idle do the rpm's go up and down or do they stay steady??
