^Probably right. I have to drive really slow in the rain with my ET Street Radials.

Sorry about your car man. She was a nice one.

HOLY CRAP, glad your alright! Good thing the car held up as good as it did cuz that looks like the guy that hit you was going really fast. As others already said, salvage what you can and start over, go LS1.

airbags do not go off on a rear impact, that would just hurt the passenger more.

never to old to learn something new. My thinking was a hit that hard would have made them go off even with the sensors in front of the car

One way to get an LT1 F-body under 3,000 lbs raceweight...

that sucks man. clean car.. hopefully alot of the parts are salvageable. doesn't look like he touched the weld wheels....

Looks like you snapped the seat pretty well unless you were driving "gangsta" style...

Thats funny, if hes got full coverage he'll be lucky to get 3 or 4 grand for his loss, its a shame but the cars 14 years old, insurance company's have no remorse, their not buying him a c5 for his lt1 f-body... Sucks man I feel hella bad for you, I would have been damn near tears..

Pain and suffering is where he is gonna get his money, his insurance isn't who's payin.

If it was a company truck I would have stayed in it and let the ambulance "extract" me from the car and sued the F*ck outta that dude....

Although I don't know why you'd be doing 25 mph on the highway with hazards on...... that in itself might be illegal no???? I think highways have minimum speeds as well.....

this is of course if it even was a highway. I have no clue where you got hit....

Where he got hit is on a 4-lane stretch that is only 45 mph. It was raining heavy, so I wouldn't think that he was being unsafe. From what I gathered on his thread on the local board, he did get knocked out during the crash.

sounds like a fat lawsuit.....

if he was going 25 and truck was doing speed limit (IE 45) the crash would have happened with about 20mph of steam....

That DOESN'T LOOK ANYTHING LIKE A 20MPH DIFFERENCE CRASH......

He still had his hazards on. Your supposed to turn them on when your doing 10 or more under the speed limit. Besides he was doing 25 because it was raining right?

Sucks about the car, glad you're alive after looking at something like that. People sometimes die from the weirdest things you know?
