please don't drive with your hazards on in the rain. i'm not saying anything leading up to the reasons why you were hit, but the two main reasons why you should not drive w/ hazards on during a storm is- your turn signals do not work and it is extremely difficult enough to see out of the windshield during heavy rain and makes it even more difficult to navigate the road when there is a moving car using hazards. Nothing screams out "HEY LOOK AT ME I'M GOING VERY SLOW SO PLEASE AVOID ME WHILE I CREATE AN EVEN WORSE HAZARD!" more than when you are moving in inclimate weather with hazards. The best thing to do if you're trying to be cautious is pull over, stop and then turn your hazards on.
