Possibly? Works great. One of my redneck mechanic buddies taught it to me, hes got some other cool tricks like waxing your windshield - beats the hell out of rain-x, and using hot glue between the car and a speaker to make an air tight seal and stop rattles.

As far as the brake cleaner goes, why would you think im crazy?

Oh, and brake cleaner can also be used when you have poison ivy to stop the itch, and gum cutter works great as starting fluid.

I cleaned mine with the engine out, obviously its giong to be easier to clean that way.

Simple green and a rag did the job for me. Just dont scrub to hard or youll rub off paint.

And to the gentleman that said brake cleaner, I hear that pouring brake fluid all over your car will make it shine like new.

Just take everything off the front of it, clean it, weld it, fill it in, primer, then paint, lol.
