How do you clean your LT1 engine bay
How do you clean your LT1 engine bay On all the cars I had I would power wash the engine bay using all wheel cleaner and car was soap. It always came out the best and would never decolor any hoses and stickers under the hood. Now that I own a LT1 car water is not an option. How else can I do it without water? Just trying to figure this out before I spend hourssssss by hand with a damp cloth

i do hours by hand with a damp/soapy cloth and i use compressed air in the tight spots. Sorry but this seems to be the only way to do it with out killing the opti. Also i spray soem silicone spray over all the hoses and black stuff to make em shiney 
I use degreaser with VERY low water pressure. And I don't go around just blasting everything with the hose either! Just let the degreaser do the work and then rinse it off. Do not spray any electronics directly either. After you get it clean the first time it is not hard to keep it up with a rag and some spray cleaner. I daily drive it and just wipe down maybe once a month if that.

I just use any one of the "orange" degreasers that they have at autozone when I'm there. I like using the organic stuff because I'm a hippy! LOL Seriously though the chemical cleaners leave a white residue on the black rubber and plastic pieces then you really have to go over them with tire shine or something.
i used an engine degreaser, not around the opti area, then used the carwash quickly spraying the engine compartment, once again avoiding the opti are, then start going by hand.
