Slp Loud Mouth
I was never a real big fan of the lm myself. my cousin had a lm2 on his gt 4.6 and i didnt like it all that much. That car is now sitting in a junkyard due to a run in with some snow and a brick wall. So he came up with a 95z28 much more to my liking and put the lm1 on his car. Sounded pretty good so i decided to ditch my flowcrapster and honestly the sound really grows on you. with headers it does rasp quite a lot but if anyone really wants to make some noise i dont think lm's are a bad choice. I get a lot of compliments on how loud my car really is. I almost feel bad for people sometimes when i race em... "That was painful" kinda thing haha
I have a LM1 on my 94. It is VERY throaty! It doesnt have the rasp for some reason though. I also have the same on my SS and there is a very big difference in the way the 2 cars sound. The LT1 sounds like it has more ***** than the LS1 but it could be due to the dual cats on the SS. Either way, I love them. Awesome sound for me and I am cheap so it fits right in.

LM1 takes a lot of getting used to. However, me I absolutely love the loudest exhaust possible so thats whats going on the car once the motor is built. Moderate amount of drone with LM1 on the highway too. But everyone will know you have a sick car if they aren't deaf. I think maybe even the deaf can hear an LM1 exhaust.
