If you guys want challenging try doing the wiring for an 03 Cobra motor in a 99GT. Modular my ***, that thing was a nightmare.
Dont worry about the mods Jayhawk, if you have any type of car experience all of what you described minus the stall is a cakewalk (stall will just take a little more than that.... Maybe a 30 rack and a nice night
)Especially considering you already did a motor swap, you shouldent have any trouble at all.

I'll miss the fun times owning a sleeper GT, but I sure as hell won't miss the car. What a PITA to do anything to that thing.
Apparently the kid I'm selling it to is going to drive it around all winter long on the ET Streets or at least make it 3 feet before he realizes that he can't.

To do cams is ~10-13 hours depending on who does it. Timing cover and all accessories have to come off to take off the valve covers. Once you get there, there are 32 springs, lash adjusters, and 4 cams to deal with. Instead of timing one cam, you're also timing 4 (obviously).
Hahaha....oh.. crap that would suck. LT's are gonna be a crappy install, especially if it still has the stock manifolds and they've never been removed...
Quick question though, why go to an LTX from a Cobra motor? I mean, I love my LT1, but no way in hell would I want to start over with it.
