Wheel bolts to axle via lug nuts. Axle actually goes inside the axle tube, but bare with me! The Pumpkin is what you see in the dead center and your cover bolts to it. Inside is the carrier, depicted by "|O". The - on each side is the axles going in to the carrier. They're held in place by some keys, which you get out by taking a bolt out and then putting a long pin out, pushing the shafts in and the key falls out. Then you can pull the axle out of the carrier. The "Ring" gear is bolted to the carrier, the "Pinion" gear is not. Your drive shaft bolts to the Pinion on the outside of the pumpkin.

And yes, I have time on my hands, and with the people I deal with, it comes by habit to over explain things so a retard can understand it lol Hell, you should've seen the one thread I posted in about swapping a rear end. I listed everything you needed to unbolt haha
