try the steel wool trick. If that doesn't work, then ask to see his calibration certificates.

California has the same stupid noise law. That's why I'm always cautious about driving around my SS. It's louder through the Borla muffler than my 2000 T/A with a cutout.

And the comment about the Harley's...makes no sense to me either. Harley's cruise by the cops all the time when I'm out riding on the weekend and it almost seems like they make more noise as they pass by the cops. Then I'll ride by on my Busa with my friends on Gixxers and we get pulled over for modified exhaust while making an 1/8 of the noise that Harley's make. It's a retarded world with no logic out there.

My question is, how do you get pulled over on a bike?

Everytime I've seen the fuzz throw lights at the sportsbikes around here, they just peace out.

Back on topic, the steelwool works, but be careful they they dont throw a healthy rev and blow it out. Its f'in hot, and it'll catch pants on fire.

If the law is new how can they ask older cars to comply with it???? Sounds like BS to me. Thats like asking a carberated car to pass an obd2 test.
Its also BS motorcycles can be as load as they want dont need seatbeats or helmets and in a car if your not wearing a seatbelt they pull you over and give you a ticket.
