The fastest bolton LT1 goes 11.7xx somthing as the fastest one

The fastest bolton CARB Lt1 is faster than it, but again its a carb wich isnt the same record

No, I dont get it. Based on the loose rules set forth by this board a intake manifold is a bolton. And, since changing the fuel injection parts is also a bolt on, then so is a carb.

So, the fastest bolton carb car is the fastest bolt on car.

So what is the new bolt on record?

I still, personally, don't think that being able to change the intake should be allowed. IMO The three key components to an LT1/4 are the intake, opti and reverse flow design. Using LTCC still uses the opti, so that is a modification.

Head swapping is kind of a gray area, but I think the majority call a "bolt on" something that bolts onto the outside of the motor. Intakes create the outside of the motor. You seriously have to stop SOMEWHERE. If you're going to allow a full intake swap, might as well allow heads. If you're going to allow heads, might as well allow cams, and if you're going to allow cams, then you need to let people modify the rotating assembly

Everyone has there own thougts as to what should and shouldnt called a bolton.

I was just basing my coments off of the list that on this site for the LS1 cars.

Head swaping is not a gray area..... Its not a bolton. Nothing gray area about it.

So his car has bolton, with a carb.....Read again BOLTONS WITH A CARB

It doesnt hold the bolton record because of that, so the title he holds is fastest bolton carb car. Do you understand that now, how many times must it be explained.

He does not own the fastest bolton title, because he isnt efi

Again all you need to read my posts again, and think more.

And your going off topic to what a bolton is, the rules are already made and its clear what it is.

No touching internals of a motor, only rocker arms cam be changed and thats it.
