Just wondering for all those who bought the lt4 hotcam kit is your valve train loud - Does it have a loud ticking sound. The shop that installed my kit said it supposed to be loud.

The roller rockers in the kit will be noisier than the stock stamp steel rocker arms. They should sound sort of like a sewing machine but not be too too loud.

My 1.6 promags are noisy compared to stock. You can't here them with the hood closed. With the hood open, they should sound like a sewing machine as stated above.

my crane race gold 1.6rr's are very loud.... a buddy yesterday asked if i had a bad valve..I said no sir....just the rr's..thats how loud they are....

well not that loud but it does sound like a sewing machine with the hood open...its not bad with the hood closed
