Optispark Fitment
I bought this on ebay from ignition_dk...probably a knock-off seeing as the cap is black and I have never seen a black cap before on an optispark. But anyways, I can't seem to get it to mount for anything, its like the shaft won't seat itself into the motor. You can see in the second picture that it will not seat far enough in to put the screws in. I'm probably not mounting it right...

Go with AC Delco, just installed mine from Summit $309. Piece of mind is worth the extra $100! I pulled off an almost new knock off that took a dump. I also have an All_Igniton one I bought before I wised up (Never Installed) that I need to get rid of now. AC Delco or MSD!

IMHO, "the exact same as" DOES NOT mean that it is.
If it truly is that part, the wording should say "this is the GM 1104032" which clarifies the vagarity in their ad.
Not trying to start an argument, but I have an excellent understanding of bait and switch.
I would love to hear that these are genuine Delphi parts, as I am currently on the hunt for an opti for my new engine.

Delco was the original supplier of the optis. I dont know when or why Delphi is making them now, but what they're saying is the Delphi opti is the exact same as the Delco opti with the mentioned part number, but from Delphi..
