my hope was to break into the 13's.. after i go down im gonna put a shift kit,headers, and eibach drag springs with some sort of adjustable shocks. the reason i think it might the motor and tranny were rebuilt less then 40k ago

bone stock i went 14.3 at a track here in az, so since you have a few more performance upgrades you should break into the high 13's as long as you get a good launch and 60' time. Good luck and let us know what you run.

thanks guys.. me and my friend who is a ford guy chevy hater have a bet i got i will go 13's he says i wont break 14.0 so hopefully the lt1 can shut the ford *** up

what kind of time would i look to knock off with a shift kit alone like .1-.3 sec? and with the mods i talked about earlier i was thinking i should get under mid 13's..

I think you'll make 13s for sure. My 94 Formula went 14.27 @ 98 mph on a 2.2 60ft, with a K&N panel filter. I honestly thought the car was gone stock, til I looked in the air box. This was in the heat of Aug. Oh and at Capitol Raceway.
