You never answered me about going to Darlington Dragway this fall/winter to run the cars. Think you might be up for it?
I dont mind dragging that old LT1 down the 1/4mile once I get mine ready, I got to get the fuel delivery right and the bar welded in.

Cool! I'll hit you up when I get everything squared away with it. May have you tune it too (running a PCMforless tune now).

sorry guys, I am not checking very often due to being on vacation out of the country right now right now...

I have a standard race prep'd CPT tranny, I had it done before he had the pro race as an available option, and it has been a well performing long lasting tranny...

and, ahh, umm, what was the other question, too much beer on the golf course today I guess, let me recheck what was posted and I will get back to them...

A set of Bogart's or lighter wheels would free up even more weight though you've mentioned "budget" several times so I doubt they're in your plans for the future.

What level CPT trans are you running? That's a helluva advertisement for them and Herron Performance...lol. Another thing: correct me if I'm wrong but for the "bolt on record", the heads cannot be ported at all?

Keep doin it man. You're making all of us LT1 boys proud!
thanks,

I have that sig pic from last year, it was onle of the best wheels up launch I had at the time, and I switched from the 28" Drag radial to the backup 26" Draqg radial on the spare stockers at that race to get a little more. This year I have 26" mounted on both my main and backup rims, the main set are draglites. I answered your CPT level question earlier, and yeah I don't mind advertising for those 2 since they both helped me out a lot, and are great guys/companies to work with. And for the ported head question, nope, they are not legal...
