Default full-length sfc's?

is that just a mustang thing? because i can't find anything about full-length subframe connectors on an fbody so i was just wondering where i could find them. thanks.

seriously dude, check the sponsers on the right, BMR, sphoon, UMI all make that stuff, get the welded in triangulated version if you can tightens up a bit more than just rocker panel style...

yea i realize i can get subframe connectors i have a set, but i was just asking if someone could clarify a difference. i notice for mustangs some are listed as "full-length." when looking at parts for fbodies i don't see any labels like that they are just "subframe connectors." i'm asking if there is an actual difference in length between "full-length" and just the regular ones or if that's just how they list the part for the mustang aftermarket.

Yes full length is a Mustang Fox Body thing... a lot of companies make short style SFC's for the fox body mustang.

For the F-Body there is really just one length... we offer a set-up that attaches to the rear control arm mount and ties into the front sub-frame. Please take a look at the link below, we offer a wide variety of SFC's for the 93-02 F-Body and our links feature many installation pictures.

What is the difference between tube and square design? The square is a few bucks more, but my recollection is that tube is a stronger design than square. Reason they have square is due to cheapness of making the square-stock used.

Also, anyone have a picture of how these run? Do they run right under the 'rocker panel' in that small indentation (which I assume is what makes up part of the door sill)? I bought some for my 3rd Gen, and when we tried putting them on it, it made NO sense. And my friend is not someone who gets stumped by this sort of thing lol Oddly I didn't really need them on my 91, as I could jack up the front or rear of one side and have 3 wheels come off the ground, it was a SOLID car!

So, yea, fitment area, otherwise I'd rather just make my own and have them hide up in that body area I mentioned.

Formula350- Yes they run down the indentation under the door. If you do not want them to be visible I recommend to go with our tubular styles #2001 or #2002... these items tuck up extremely tight and can not be seen from the side of the vehicle. I posted a picture below to show where these items run.

The tubular version is lighter then the boxed and they tuck up much tighter.. the boxed would work better if you are welding a crossmember or torque arm to them.

Yea, those look really nice. If I ever get any spare money to actually upgrade my car, those would be the ones. They just bolt to the outside of the LCA bracket I take it?

I hate to go off topic, but you know the size of that exhaust (cat back) in there? Even if it's factory, it looks bigger than mine, but I don't have a shot of mine to compare :\ I'm just going off how the drive shaft looks in comparison.

i went with the tubed SFCs for better clearance and tucked in, I think they offer the same rigidity
