Default front license options

So I got my second no license plate ticket today b/c after replacing the front end on my car I hated the idea of putting that ugly license plate mount back on. The cop that pulled me over was being a dick and was also trying to give me a loud exhaust ticket as well. Anyway I still really don't want to put it on but i live in IL. However this is getting alittle expensive, what are the rest of you doing. This is prolly a stupid question but is there anyway out of having to mount it on the front? I know some people place it in their front windshield but i still don't think that is legal.

Guys that sucks the laws are the way they are where you live! We dont have that here and I couldnt imagine hanging a tag on the front of my formula! Ever thought about moving? LOL Just playin That reallllly does suck but to be serious I would check with local laws to see what is legal. I am currently trying to decide what I want to do about my exhaust to make it meet the noise violation law!

HAH! You think we have it bad? I'd rather have a license plate law over a noise ordinance! License plate doesn't affect performance

(You should use your avatar picture as your sig, but bigger of course lol)

You're lucky! As more states try to cash in on the "red light camera" deals, they're sure to get tougher on the front plates.

Having said that, I've gotten a couple of tickets over the years for no front plate, but I simply consider it the cost of doing business...haven't run a front plate since '85, when I bought a Firebird SE that had that nice, smooth front bumper.

i was just looking at my 3 latest front plate violations from this summer...5-12-08...5-26-08...7-1-08...in nebraska its just a fix-it ticket, no money involved, so i don't run a front plate and collect tickets!

States with front plates are gay.

Funny that the motorized hide away plate is on a third gen Camaro, they actually had a front bumper where the plate would go, and with the big nose it doesn't look like ****.

Curvy 4th gens though, well I'm glad I live in FL, and if I move back to PA, no front plate there either.
